Welcome to Hith-Sadhan, a platform dedicated to deepening our understanding of money, exchange and economics — and to helping refine the way we participate in the economy.
Founded and researched by Mr. Jagannath Raju (born 1949, Nakkapalli, Andhra Pradesh; science graduate, retired from Tata Tinplate’s Quality Department in 2000) after 25 years of continuous study, varied dialogue and critical examination of conventional economics.
He challenged the existing definitions in economics and money-theory and reached the compelling insight: “If we improve the exchange of rupees, we can solve many social-economic problems.”
At Hith-Sadhan we believe that the way money (banknotes, rupees, currency) is used, circulated and understood matters deeply — not only for individuals, but for institutions, societies and governments.
We delve into topics such as: what exactly is money? How do banknotes and rupees differ? How does labour transform into value? What is the market beyond buying and selling? How is productivity measured? How does purchasing power work? How can economics be re-defined?
Through our blog, dialogues and initiatives (including the “Mudra-Mantra” series), we aim to present these ideas to the general public — to raise awareness, provoke thought and enable change.
We’ve also launched initiatives under “GJR Products” and the “Nagar-Sakha Industry” to bring these ideas into practice.
We invite you to join our endeavour — to explore, question and improve how we use money, how we participate in exchange, and how we build productive lives and societies. Together we can advance not only personal understanding but also institutional and societal transformation.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
